When Center theatres are used for audio recordings for the purpose of producing a compact disc there is a contract requirement that the College receive copies of the CD. This is the relevant clause:
36. USE FOR RECORDING – When college facilities are used for the purpose of recording music to be issued as a commercial compact disc (or other format) the USER shall provide the COLLEGE (at no cost) five (5) copies of the finished recording. The COLLEGE shall be credited on the jacket or other printed material accompanying the produced recording as follows: “…recorded on [date(s)] at The [Recital Hall or Concert Hall] of The Performing Arts Center, Purchase College, State University of New York.
Since the production and release of the finished CD is often some time after the recording sessions occur please take particular note of this clause and make appropriate arrangements for the acknowledgement to be printed and the copies to be allocated and sent to my attention following release.
